Nature's Narrative

Telling the story of our planet

One and only entity that governs the whole universe is Nature. Some have personified Nature as Almighty who is omnipotent and omnipresent. I endearingly prefer to call Mother Nature who is caring and benevolent. She takes care of and nourishes us all.

As a member of the great family, we must respect and care for every element of Mother Nature. Felling trees causes habitat destruction, ultimately leading to a big and irrevocable destruction. It needs to be managed scientifically to keep a harmonious equilibrium.

Here comes the LiFE, which is Lifestyle for Environment.

I endeavour to create impactful, quality writing pieces to instigate the thought process. It is how I want to contribute my bit to the social and environmental cause.

Come, embark on the journey with me. You will enjoy it, I am sure.

The Sun: Vital Energy Source for Life on Earth

The sun is essential for life on Earth, symbolising energy and vitality. In the Sanatan tradition, it is worshipped as a deity, notably with the story of Lord Hanuman, who mistakenly swallowed it, causing darkness until he released it. The sun’s beauty is celebrated in various cultures, from stunning morning views to the captivating hues of sunset. It inspires hope and optimism, urging action and clarity. Revered with names like Bhāskar and Āditya, its rays sustain life and are a source of positivity. The sun is a vital life force for all.

Sun, the eternal source of energy and vigour, is the linchpin of life on the beautiful and vibrant planet Earth. It looks majestic when seen in the morning, while it rises up in the sky and looks appreciatively stunning with the grace of an anchorite, while it sets beyond the horizon in the evening.

In Sanatan tradition, the sun is God who rides on a blazing chariot driven by seven steeds. During his childhood, Lord Hanuman, often referred to as the monkey god, mistakenly swallowed the sun, believing it to be a ripe fruit. The whole world plunged into deep darkness, and life became impossible. Gods and demigods prayed to Hanuman to release the sun for the broader advantage of humanity and save the earth. Mahaveer Hanuman graciously released the sun. The story narrates the vital power of the sun.

The setting sun presents a spectacular view. The scattering of light creates a distinct pinkish hue in the blue sky. As it goes down the horizon, light bears a unique golden hue. It is the “Golden period” that gives an excellent touch to Nature. Silhouetted trees or objects look stunningly beautiful, adding a unique dimension to Nature.

In an urban landscape, the setting sun gives an entirely new look. The stray streaks of clouds look like locks of hair playing the beautiful face of a blonde girl with a blazing pink face. As the sun goes down, its beauty proportionately increases.

Taking a stroll in the early morning is invigorating and rejuvenating. It is rewarding to watch the rising sun, which looks mesmerisingly stunning. The large circular heliacal ball seems to be hanging up on the horizon. It looks mysterious when it is shrouded in morning mist.

Looking ablaze but calm, the sun is the most active star. Millions of fissions and fusion reactions take place, releasing tremendous amounts of energy, solar storms and dangerous flares which rise up in space up to thousands of miles high.

May God Sun be kind to us all, humanity and the whole life forms on the earth. May the sun fill life and vigour to everything, animate or inanimate, life or lifeless. May He keep synthesizing new things and produce good and healthy things by instigating reactions with His light.

So be it.
