Setting sun
The setting sun has always lured humans because of its beauty. The bright ochre colour sometimes reminds one of smouldering coal. The latter is a type of slow combustion without flame, but looks glowing pink-orange with low but uniform heat.
Hide and seek
The large heliacal ball looks more beautiful when it plays hide and seek with vagabond clouds. The month of June is about to end. After long, sultry, and humid days, the rain god poured his bounties, cooling the simmering earth. Though humidity still persists, the skiescape changed drastically.

Colourful skyscape
The azure sky is laced with long streaks of white clouds. Sometimes these clouds look like stray white cottony patches. This transforms the whole canvas into a colourful magnum opus. A large crimson solar ball gradually goes down.

Pareidolia
The stray clouds use the warm hues of scattering light from the setting sun. This light falls on the blue background of the azure sky. It forms eye-catching Nephographs. The patterns keep changing dynamically. It is seen and perceived every moment. I tend towards pareidolia, constantly trying to figure out different shapes formed by clouds.

Evening
The sun offers marvellous opportunities to admire the beauty of the natural cycle. The rising sun evokes energy. It ignites the latent potential in a person to start afresh. In contrast, the setting sun gives a feeling of hope, optimism, and fulfilment. After the hectic day, it is time to rest and recreate. The collective chirping of returning birds indicates the end of the day. Flocks of birds fly, sometimes in a formation, fluttering slowly in a rhythmic movement, and they show a tranquil picture. The commotion of returning cattle gives a sense that it is the house which is the ultimate respite. Birds and cattle settle in their cosy nook after a hectic day.

The sun: source of energy
As the sun goes down, its flares diminish. It looks like a big crimson ball. Its graceful aura shows the regality of the celestial body. The sun is the source of eternal energy, without which life would be impossible to imagine. It keeps the weather cycle moving, creates the Gulf Streams and keeps the Earth’s temperature at a life-sustaining level. The sun is not a mere cosmic body or a star. It is way beyond that – life-giver and nourisher. In the Sanatan tradition, it is considered a blazing God. He travels on his bright chariot driven by seven white horses. (Wisdom Library)

Silky soft darkness
After the sun goes down, it leaves a trail of bright colours of various hues and tones. They add a unique romanticism to the ambience. The soft, silky darkness gradually spreads its shroud, covering the whole sky. Like a soft, curvaceous face of a blonde with a wisp of hair, the silky-smooth crepuscule is soul-soothing.

Craze of Night life
The silky soft darkness starts deepening after dusk. It was once a time for rest for people and the entire living world. Nonetheless, the tough and precarious jungle life continued. The jungle is a system where Nature is always on its toes. Large carnivores hunt, and the herbivores are always on the alert. The changing human lifestyle has almost converted them into nocturnal creatures. The craze of enjoying “Night Life” is increasing. People are consuming alcohol and exposing themselves to loud music and sharp, bedazzling lights. All of these are adversely affecting lives.
In the end
Appreciating Nature and its unique way of functioning is invigorating. It quickly restores lost energy and transforms an exhausted individual into an energetic, enthusiastic and ebullient person. It is the best way to take care of oneself.
