Nature's Narrative

Telling the story of our planet

One and only entity that governs the whole universe is Nature. Some have personified Nature as Almighty who is omnipotent and omnipresent. I endearingly prefer to call Mother Nature who is caring and benevolent. She takes care of and nourishes us all.

As a member of the great family, we must respect and care for every element of Mother Nature. Felling trees causes habitat destruction, ultimately leading to a big and irrevocable destruction. It needs to be managed scientifically to keep a harmonious equilibrium.

Here comes the LiFE, which is Lifestyle for Environment.

I endeavour to create impactful, quality writing pieces to instigate the thought process. It is how I want to contribute my bit to the social and environmental cause.

Come, embark on the journey with me. You will enjoy it, I am sure.

Community work

Community work is something that is common and affects a wider number of people sharing some common characteristics, things or interests. It is usually a united effort and a result of the contribution of all members of a community.

A few days ago, I wrote a piece tracing the historical aspect of community welfare. This piece focuses on the topic from a different perspective.

National safety and security

The most important aspect of community welfare is the safety and security of the nation. Other things can wait. National integrity and safety are of utmost importance. The country received a severe blow from a handful of religious fanatics trained and funded by hostile neighbours. The cowards stealthily crept into the country, assaulted innocents, and, after establishing their religious faiths, killed them in cold blood. 22 April 2025 was a black day in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir (India) when 26 innocent tourists lost their lives in a cold-blooded massacre by terrorists. (Factthread)

Indignation

The cowardly act of ruthless killings sent a shockwave across the country. Simmering with indignation, the country roared in unison, demanding revenge. The feeling of the country was palpable. It was justified, for it was not a lone incident. The country has faced such heinous acts in past. The hostile neighbour has been patronising and infiltrating the terrorists to destabilise the country’s peace and public order by instigating communal violence between the different communities. Schemes chalked, and a massive counter-offensive launched after meticulous planning and careful consideration. against terrorist outfits flourishing in the neighbourhood.

“Operation Sindoor”

National security can never be compromised. Nine places were attacked with utmost precision and accuracy, destroying the terrorist outfits and terror camps in different locations of the hostile neighbour under “Operation Sindoor”. The operation carried out at 01:30 AM on 07 May 2025. The Bravehearts didn’t cross the international border. The precise action carried out jointly by tri-services using one of the most powerful fighter aircraft, Rafail and missiles.

In utter disgrace, the enemy started boasting that they had destroyed a few aircraft. It was the degree of the desperate vacuum they faced and shamelessly befooling their people with false propaganda on bogus grounds.

Terrorism

India has been facing state-sponsored terrorism by Pakistan for a long time. Terrorism, fuelled and funded by the enemy, has been ailing the country for the last few decades. The hostile neighbour provides a safe haven and fertile breeding ground for various dreaded terrorist outfits, who, encouraged by and at their command, try to disrupt the peace, harmony and national security. These terrorist outfits, run under the disguise of religious organisations operated by “Mujahideen”, aim to jeopardise social harmony and public order. The groups of trained religious radicals and fanatics infiltrate the country to carry out sinister plots of gore and destruction.

Action against terrorism

India has replied befittingly on various occasions with its precise surgical strikes, but the enemy behaved like a crooked dog’s tail. Habitually repeating the misadventure, the foe gets a tight blow on their face. To give them a befitting reply, the country launched a counter-offensive named “Operation Sindoor”.

1947 and after

More than seven decades ago, in 1947, the country was freed but at a heavy cost of vivisection. A section claimed that they were different and had no commonality between the two communities, viz, Hindu and Muslims. The leader of the latter, Mohd. Ali Jinnah propounded a “Two-Nation” theory and demanded a separate nation for Muslims. It culminated in vivisection. They, though, did not stop there. Since its beginning, they have sowed seeds of hatred and division. They imposed a war in 1948 on Kashmir and started laying unilateral and unfounded claims on it. The hostile nation adopted an offensive posture like that of a deadly snake. Despite the best efforts of our nation to forget the past and start afresh, they stay arrogant and unaffected treating India as timid. It needed to teach them a lesson.

Imposed wars

They did not stop and thrust full-fledged wars on India in 1965, 1971 and 1999. Their sinister intention was to annex Kashmir by deceitful engagement with India. It is noteworthy that India respects the sovereignty of every country and never attacks anyone. It guards national security carefully and respects the territorial integrity of other nations. Parallel to it, India knows how to protect frontiers and sovereignty. Peaceful coexistence is the bedrock of the Indian ethos. It is a goodwill gesture; it must not be construed as weakness.

Treacherous enemy in Kargil

Unquestionably, Kashmir is an integral part of India, and it shall always stay so. Yet they always tried to raise the issue on purpose to internationalise it. Their attempts have always been unsuccessful due to India’s interference, and they have consistently been pushed back. Their latest audacious misadventure was in Kargil in 1999. They trespassed onto Indian territory and stealthily captured the hills in the Kargil sector of Ladakh. The cowardly enemy intruded in the disguise of Mujahideen. The initial blow apart, Indian forces fell heavily on them. After two months of war, they were thrown out of Indian territory. They fail to bear the brunt of India’s massive counter-offensive. To say the least, their cowardice was such that they did not even accept the dead bodies of their soldiers. The last rites were performed by Indian forces with dignity.

April 2025: Pahalgam

The carnage of Pahalgam was a link in their chain of sinister plotting. Yet another misadventure taken by the enemy to attack national security. They insidiously crept in and performed the gory killing of innocent tourists. They thought India would not retaliate, but as usual, they lived in a fool’s paradise. Blinded by baseless and unfounded beliefs and envious of Indian progress, they once again took the misadventure of attacking India. Failing in their efforts, they are now crying foul but without getting noticed internationally. They have been completely isolated. No one, except for one or two, is with them even as an eye wash.

The mendacious attitude of Pakistan’s ruling class and its people that they are superior holds no water. It was glaring when, as an aftermath of the Pahalgam carnage, India discontinued all types of visas and gave them a deadline to leave the country. Most Pakistanis did not want to leave India and created a scene at the borders.

False grounds

A failed state, Pakistan is reeling with a plethora of internal problems. The most favourite “Muslim” brotherhood is not paying. In the wake of frantically trying to portray their religious hegemony, they are fuelling and taming hatred against non-Muslims. It has pushed them into a blind alley; return is impossible therefrom.

Futile denial

The vile Pakistani system tries to draw nourishment from the juices of “Hate India” and negate its very roots of the Indian connection. They deliberately do not want to annex their past with Indian history; they try to live in a futile denial and adhere to a different race; they do not belong to.

Birth of a new nation

The balloon of their mendacious attitude deflated in 1971 when, within a short period of a little more than two decades, the “Islamic State” was divided, and one part was separated as an independent country. Liberated “East Pakistan” emerged as a new sovereign nation as ” Bangladesh”. It testifies to the futility and hollowness of an inflexible and rigid theocratic state.

Peace, dialogue and diplomacy

The birthplace of Islam is Mecca in the Arabian Peninsula. It is in modern Saudi Arabia. Most of the Gulf countries, notably SA, are progressive and broad-minded and relatively more open and inclusive societies. The adoption of new ways of life in the changing world scenario keeps a society abreast with new ways. It augments mutual cooperation and the development of all. Peace, dialogue and diplomacy are the ways to amicably solve complex issues. Confrontation is no solution. Nevertheless, any effort to jeopardise the national security of a country must be taken seriously. India’s retaliation was against the perpetual and intentional offenders of terrorist outfits and organisations which operate in religious disguise.

India’s precise operation

The Indian army, in its press conference after the operation, categorically stated that it was an operation aimed at terrorist outfits operating from Pakistan. It was a precise, correct job done with a sensitive approach. The Indian Army tri-services working in tandem performed the task with deadly accuracy. It was not a military engagement. Pakistan, though, unilaterally shelled on the borders, breaching the ceasefire and targeting innocent civilians.

Eulogies

The precise, exact and deadly action of the Indian tri-services deserves eulogies. Kudos to the army and Indian leadership, which, exhibiting supreme confidence, patience and resilience, have performed a daunting task to eradicate terror camps operating from across the border. The Indian army and soldiers are our pride.

Indian opposition, despite their ideological differences, stood firm and supported the government. They must also be credited for it.

A special mention to Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi, who untiringly worked for it and burned the midnight oil to plan and execute such a flawless operation. He is a man of unflinching determination, courage, dedication and commitment. The country is proud of him and his contribution.

The common people love the country. They are short of words to express their respect and gratitude to the tri-services and confident leadership.
