It was pleasant after a torrential rain. The sky was clearing; large chunks of clouds were separating as a gush of cool easterlies let the sun peep through. The sun’s radiance was warm and effectively broke the monotony of the long overcast sky. Plenty of different insects were on their chores, doing what they need to do. Enjoying and watching them work is the deep respect and admiration for Nature in solitude. Despite the diffused white daylight, the environment was colourful and vibrant.
The pleasantly cool easterlies were making the walk enjoyable. Swinging leaves of trees and drooping raindrops, which appeared like pavonine pearls in the sunlight, instantly attracted attention. A sprig of Bush Morning Glory, half-submerged in the pond was vegetatively growing from its nodal bud to give yet another green plant. The growth was amazing. A frog was croaking near the plant to attract its female. The amphibian was yellow in colour, blending with the muddy environment it was in. Its deep blue vocal sacs would swell like small balloons on the sides of its neck when croaking.
The poetical environment was soothing and invigorating, conveying a deep sense of purpose and objective. Every natural element engrossed in their work. They didn’t think about what they were working and why but their regimental attitude towards their work contributed significantly to the Nature’s cause. It is how their algorithm instruct them to do. Watching them at work, is a pleasurable experience. The tiny animals teach so many things.
Lone, not alone
Soliloquising and observing things closely is usual with a person who loves solitude. They don’t feel alone or left out. They enjoy their way of life, and it is good also. So long as a habit is harmless, confined to the person concerned and doesn’t harm any other person or society, it is good. It shouldn’t bother other nor should it be criticised. The concerted work the organisms were seen doing was unifocal, aimed at progressing Nature and making it sustainable. The earthworms were swallowing mud while burrowing in their tubular tunnel. The openings of tubular tunnels were guarded by their small, ball-like or long, coiled mud droppings. They were contributing their bit to aerate and nourish the soil.
A great teacher
Observing Nature enjoying solitude offers plenty of things to an inquisitive mind. Wandering with an open mind and a clean slate is rewarding. There are a plethora of things that unfold every moment, allowing one to learn and experience things firsthand. Nature teaches many things to an eager learner. Nature expects a degree of respect for its rules and regulations. Serious flouting leads to disasters. In that condition, Nature is seen red in tooth and claw. It bursts, resulting in extensive damage to what humans created artificially for their comfort. History is full of such natural calamities and disasters. The one which is most talked about is the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum which were buried deep in several feet thick ash, dust and pyroclastic detritus.
One of the most organised societies that existed millennia ago was wiped out for a reason still under the shroud of mystery. The Indus Valley Civilisation, one of the oldest and most organised ones, was wiped out and reduced to a big mound by ostensible natural fury. Recently, catastrophic disasters like the one that happened in the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal are an example. It is, though, not alone. India has faced it in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Kashmir.
Subjectivity
What a person wants to see is their choice and is totally subjective. Two people may have similar preferences, but there is a degree of disagreement in their choices. In the event of the same preference, conflict is the ultimate result. To avoid conflict, humans have mooted and implemented ways like competition. Those who succeed in a competition have the right to win what they desire. It is widely applicable, be it in sports, studies, or seeking a job.

It is difficult to classify the goodness of a thing that came unexpectedly. It is again a subjective thing based on various factors; the most important of them all is the relevance of the object at the given point in time. A hungry person would definitely be the happiest person to get money randomly, for one can calm the pangs of hunger.
