Nature's Narrative

Telling the story of our planet

One and only entity that governs the whole universe is Nature. Some have personified Nature as Almighty who is omnipotent and omnipresent. I endearingly prefer to call Mother Nature who is caring and benevolent. She takes care of and nourishes us all.

As a member of the great family, we must respect and care for every element of Mother Nature. Felling trees causes habitat destruction, ultimately leading to a big and irrevocable destruction. It needs to be managed scientifically to keep a harmonious equilibrium.

Here comes the LiFE, which is Lifestyle for Environment.

I endeavour to create impactful, quality writing pieces to instigate the thought process. It is how I want to contribute my bit to the social and environmental cause.

Come, embark on the journey with me. You will enjoy it, I am sure.

Exploring Nature’s Beauty: A Visual Journey

Wandering in nature offers joy and healing, enhancing oneโ€™s soul and providing companionship. This journey reflects lifeโ€™s path toward merging with the Supreme Soul. Nature continually teaches lessons, showcasing her beauty through various elements. Humans rely on nature and its interconnected life forms, necessitating gratitude and preservation of the environment.

Wandering amidst Nature is an inexpressible experience. It brings joy and freshness and a moment of endearing companionship. It heals and soothes the aching Soul and transcends to a blissful level. Here is a picture story of Nature and how I perceive her.

On one such occasion, the yellow-coloured inflorescence of minute flowers attracted my attention. Naturally growing, they stood along a bed but impactfully making their presence. I flip out my cell phone to capture them.https://kamalkishoresrivastava.blog/2024/09/30/a-butterflys-whisper-a-nature-conversation-butterfly-and-its-lifecycle/

Life is like a constantly flowing perennial river till it merges with its destination, the sea. It is alanologus to the life which merges with the Supreme Soul after the culmination of the journey. From the day one opens eyes to the world, the journey starts. As it advances, new dimensions unfold, enriching life with varied experiences.

At every step, Mother Nature teaches us a lesson and unfolds her new face in the form of germinating seeds into seedlings, transforming saplings into trees and then again giving seeds after flowering, pollination and fruiting.

Every animate and inanimate object, living or non-living, has an intrinsic quality, which, as we know it now, is because of its atomic structure and its behaviour.

Nature expresses herself in various ways. Curvaceous petals, their orientation, colour and contrast give a surreal, sometimes actual feeling of the beauty of the unit. Every element has a story and they tell it uniquely.

Taking pictures is my favourite. Instead of carrying bulky DSLRs and lenses, I prefer taking pictures with my cell phone. The reason is obvious. The convenience and availability of the instrument do not become an impediment to my picture-taking joy.

The beauty of Nature is alluring. It gives immense joy to be among them. Bright and vivid colours of flowers, contrasting backgrounds, and their swinging heads in the slow blowing breeze captivates. It sways. It is rewarding to be engaged in conversation with flowers and plants. They mutely respond by the movement of their twigs, leaves and flowers.

Not only colourful flowers, the saprophytic mushrooms also add dimension to the living world. Small colourful insects supplement the whole natural drama and complete the cycle of food and energy.

Occupying the position of Primary Producers, actively or passively they are the only source of food for all. Even the carnivores are passively dependent on plants as the herbivores they hunt upon are solely plant-eating.

From juicy, sweet mangoes to apples and from almonds to cashew nuts, they provide humans with nutrition and strength. The grains and pulses that we consume are gifted by plants.

It’s a world of interdependence where every organism is dependent on the other for survival. Hovering insects get pollen and nectar from the flowers, and in turn, they pollinate them and help them complete the process of reproduction.

Humans owe their existence to the plant world and their collaboration with the insect and animal world. We are grateful to Mother Nature for the Bounties she showers on us. We need to protect and take care of her and keep her in pristine form.
