Nature's Narrative

Telling the story of our planet

One and only entity that governs the whole universe is Nature. Some have personified Nature as Almighty who is omnipotent and omnipresent. I endearingly prefer to call Mother Nature who is caring and benevolent. She takes care of and nourishes us all.

As a member of the great family, we must respect and care for every element of Mother Nature. Felling trees causes habitat destruction, ultimately leading to a big and irrevocable destruction. It needs to be managed scientifically to keep a harmonious equilibrium.

Here comes the LiFE, which is Lifestyle for Environment.

I endeavour to create impactful, quality writing pieces to instigate the thought process. It is how I want to contribute my bit to the social and environmental cause.

Come, embark on the journey with me. You will enjoy it, I am sure.

my Writings and I

Welcome to my corner of the world! I’m Kamal Kishore Srivastava, a former government officer turned writer and photographer, with a deep affinity for Nature’s serenity. I believe that every element of our plannet has a story to tell. The sources of inspiration for my writing are life’s experiences and observations. In fact, my writing is a reflection of my journey and passion for storytelling. I endeavour to capture topics which are relevant from a social point of view. The core is about Nature, and I try to share it from the heart. They are about things that stir my mind and soul. My articles have found a home in some magazines and newspapers. Now, I’m excited to share these writings and my thoughts with you here. Join me on this journey as I explore the intersections of life, nature, and the human experience.

Nature is invigorating

Nature is invigorating, enchanting and welcoming. It manifests in all forms that surround us. From vivid blooming flowers and hovering insects, kaleidoscopic butterflies and fragrant air, to rippling rivers, lofty mountains and vast seas.

Besides being rapturous, Nature is sometimes red in tooth and claw. It is lively, needs care and protection. Nature reciprocates and gives us bounties. It is the source of everything that a living organism, especially humans, needs to sustain itself. A vast food web, varieties of ecosystems, plants and animals add colour and aesthetics, are also important for life. Any disturbance in it causes havoc.

Ignite thought process

Humans are social. Their behaviours are subjective and open to correction. Individuals’ personal lives and behaviours are the outcome of external factors. Respecting Nature and protecting its components are necessary for a harmonious life. My writing isn’t just about data; it’s about the conscience of conservation. Its goal is to ignite thought process for more harmonious life. I try to pour out my heart.
